This past weekend we were able to install the hive stands and signage indicating the presence ofthe bees. We will plant a buffer garden around the apiary when the soil dries out in the spring. We are now ready for the bees. I will spend the next few weeks getting the last of the hive furniture painted, and making a few specialty pieces including a double screen board, some 5 frame boxes for possible swarm capture, splits, etc.
