Honey Harvest Festival Vendors

Christ the King Lutheran Church in Great Falls, Virginia will have a Honey Harvest Festival on Sunday, August 27, to celebrate our apiary with an event for the community. We will have a petting zoo, acoustic music (including music for kids), baked goods and honey for sale, Rocklands Barbecue food truck, a symphony concert with a Washington National Opera Cafritz Young Artist, and craft vendors.

If you have crafted products to share, I invite you to participate as a vendor at our Festival. While not required, we are particularly interested in crafters who recycle or upcycle materials, or who use sustainable materials. One of the reasons we have an apiary is to call attention to environmental stewardship and to be mindful of how we can take care of our environment so it can continue to take care of us.

VENDOR DETAILS:

Our vendor fee is $50 and all profits are yours – there is no commission to the church. Vendors will be in our parking lot, 2 spaces per vendor (which works out to about 18′ square). You’ll need to bring your own 10’x10′ canopy and any table / display equipment you need.

TIMELINE:

9:00 am Vendor load-in starts

10:00 am We will have our regular weekly worship service and all are invited to attend worship.

11:00 am The outdoor portion of the Festival begins when the service ends, around 11:00 am.

3:00 pm – 4:00 pm The symphony concert is scheduled, featuring Cecelia McKinley, Washington National Opera

5:00 pm – 5:30 pm Vendor breakdown and load out. We kindly ask all vendors to stay until 5:00 pm so that those who come for the concert can experience some of the Festival after the concert.
